Terms & Conditions

 Effective Date: 01/01/2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern registration, payment, and participation in retreats and events offered by the Company. By registering or attending, you agree to these Terms.

1.  Privacy Policy

We collect personal information necessary to operate the retreat:

  • Name and contact details
  • Emergency contact information
  • Dietary, accessibility, or accommodation info voluntarily provided

Use: Communications, logistics, and safety. We do not sell your information. Reasonable steps are taken to protect your data.

2.  Deposits, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Deposits. A non-refundable deposit equal to a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total retreat fee is required at the time of booking to secure participation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than forty-five (45) calendar days prior to the retreat start date.

Cancellations and Refunds. The initial deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. If a written cancellation request is received more than forty-five (45) calendar days prior to the retreat start date, fifty percent (50%) of any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations received forty-five (45) calendar days or fewer before the retreat start date are not eligible for any refund.

3.  Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any delay, modification, interruption, or cancellation of the Retreat or its obligations under this Agreement caused by events beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”), including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics or public health emergencies, governmental orders, travel or accommodation disruptions, labor disputes, power outages, or other similar events.

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Company may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel the Retreat. Any refunds, credits, or rescheduling options shall be provided in accordance with the Company’s cancellation and refund policies, and such events shall not be considered a breach of this Agreement.

4.  Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Retreat, or any services provided shall first be addressed through good-faith informal efforts to resolve the matter. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, and not in a court of law, except as required by applicable law.

Arbitration shall be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and shall take place in the State of Louisiana, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs unless otherwise required by law or awarded by the arbitrator. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

By agreeing to this provision, the participant knowingly waives the right to a trial by judge or jury.
